Contrary to the name, the pieces are not made of metal. They're not all sculptures or furniture.

Every piece made in our studio is made for urban life, to personify the BUSTLING, sexually charged march forward you feel when living in a city, To know you've made it or to give you hope for that eventuality. You are powerful. You are passionate. And you're only just getting started.
The Symbol
Power and depth. We seek to have both, as was desired for the symbol of Steelclad Designs.
While the negative space of the divided circle in the middle creates the two Ds necessary for steelclaD Designs, it gives a base to the logo, inviting contrast and structure in the form of straight lines. Depth is approached with the layering of rectangles that, while seemingly a simple ploy to invoke a metallic finish (thus fulfilling the company's name of Steelclad), are actually meant to resemble the skyline of a city with each building standing powerfully erect. The metallic finish is, of course, a simple ploy to fulfill the company's name of Steelclad. "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".
